During a child's early years in school, he/she is exposed to many new situations. This is also true of germs and disease. Due to the natural behaviors of young children, they are prone to more colds, respiratory infections, communicable diseases, and head lice. Please cooperate with the school to keep students healthy, well, and safe. Do not send your child to school if your child has: Fever greater than 100 degree's Vomiting or Diarrhea Communicable Disease such as chickenpox or strep throat Head Lice Your child must be free from fever( without Tylenol or Ibuprofen), vomiting, and diarrhea for 24 hours before returning to school. If your child is on antibiotics for infection, he/she may not return to school until he/she has been on antibiotic medication for 24 hours. If your child has head lice, he/she must be treated before he/she may return to school. These policies help to protect all students.
